You can't always re-create the noise when the wheels are off the ground. Tried this with both of my front wheels and they didn't make a noise at all, however the noise was back once I drove it again. Took it in to get checked and both front bearings were shot! I have to get both rears done...

Aww that's sad Paul, but chin it doesn't necessarily mean they are right. Work hard at the physio (as Peperami says) and prove them wrong. In the meantime keep your eye out for a 1.4 or 1.6 auto just so you can keep you hand in, so to speak. How much are you looking to spend on one?

Already have two Clios, my 1.6 and the 1.2 fidji that Dunc and I share. I'm not interested in the new Clio at all. I'm waiting to see what happens with the Twingo. I won't be getting rid of either of the Clios though, love them too much. If the Twingo is what I am hoping it will be, I'll get one.
