I'm not against team red at all, but the 4070 is way more efficient and as my system is a SFF with 600w PSU I would like to keep heat and power draw down.
Dilemma.
My AMD graphics card developed a fault and went off for warranty repair and I snagged a 3070 to use while it was away.
The repair still isn’t done three months later so I whinged and they’ve offered me store credit to the original price of the card which is fine with me.
If I sell...
I am mightily tempted by a 15 pro max, trade in my 14 plus and get a bit of the old 0% finance.
Not sure about the colour though so I’ll probably wait until I’ve seen one in the flesh.
It really is a little belter, and you can do so much to them to make them better too, I was thinking about some hardrace control arms…… Go on…. You know you want to…..
Yeah that’s heading for stupid money now, it’ll sit in a collection somewhere for years.
It’s got all the provenance to be a collector car though, ex-heritage fleet, still on the same plate, featured on TG.
Ooof, that's a bit embarassing, sorry fella.
I'd never tried to use the heater. Probably be the heater matrix is blocked up, "they all do that sir".
I thought I put the remote key in the advert... but I put it in the previous advert which I pulled. The guy I bought it off replaced the remote...
Pretty sure that as long as they keep pumping out content people want to watch they'll be fine. There's a lot of noise, but how many of their millions of subscribers would know any of this was going on if it wasn't for their mea culpa video this morning.
Linus has clearly been their biggest...
This is the dark side of self-building a PC, troubleshooting is an enormous pain in the arse when it all goes wrong.
I remember saying never again many years back when I just couldn't get a damn machine working and it was due to some really stupid conflict between that particular motherboard...
I’d ask three whether if you get another plan on their network you can transfer your current number over to that new plan.
If they say yes, job done. Get new phone on new plan, transfer number, cancel old plan.
I am not buying anything else this month.
I am not buying anything else this month.
My prescription lenses turned up for my VR headset today, so in all honesty I'm busy taking VR p**n to a whole new level of clarity and crispness anyway.
Are they that much better than just getting label sheets for a normal printer?
https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0811MNV8H/?tag=cliospnet01-21
Seems like you'd need to print a huuuuuge amount of labels for one to be worthwhile?
Not trying to piss on anyone's chips, I'm interested in how good they...
The pancake lenses in the latest headsets help with that a lot, but yeah, getting used to moving your head rather than your eyes to stay in the sweet spot takes some getting used to.
Not tempted by AMD? The 6700 XT is a nice step up in performance for nearly the same money - unless you’re into using ray tracing or want the DLSS features.
Bloody amazed at how far VR has come. I bought an Oculus Rift (the original, not a Rift 2) and it was OK but was heavy, the resolution wasn't that great so the screendoor effect was offputting, the field of view was narrow and needing to have the camera towers set up was a pain.
I bought a Pico...
Just bought a Pico 4 headset (goddamn Prime Day, I had escaped the evil clutches of Prime.....)
Will be interesting to see how well it works vs a monitor :)
The premium on LY cars has always boggled my mind, but hey, I like some weird s**t and would pay good money for it so....
Not like that, you have filthy minds. Bunch of animals.
