    Relocating battery help and advice

Rear end happy is good, unless its on the brakes like mine currently does. I was told by a very clever chap who sets up race cars that the best place for the battery is under the passenger seat. Balances out the weight of the driver a little

    Relocating battery help and advice

Depending on why you want to relocate the battery, you can lie it down in the stock position if its for induction kit etc. Saves messing about with junction boxes

Yea ive left mine for a week no probs, only doing short journeys atm too. Relocating battery help and advice

Ive used a BMW battery junction if you look through my thread. As you say 0wg wire is what you need for having the battery in the boot. Alternatively you maybe able to use some kind of junction box like the in car entertainment stuff uses (Amp fuse box type thing) Redtop/non spillable...

Handy with a spanner? CHEAP Car on ebay!!!

Sounds a bit pikey to me and pub talk/urban myth. How would the valve get bent in the first place? if it was bent it wouldnt run in the guide, it would get stuck

    Airbag Light

I cut the whole loom out from airbag unit to the main loom and it turned the light off. Im not sure but i think if you bare back all the wires there maybe two wires joined together that could be it

    Airbag Light

They dont have bulbs, they are led's soldered directly to the circuit board. Take the clocks apart and either paint over the led or snap it off the board, easy

Dashboard looks like a token guesture on these. Most race cars have a very flimsy fibreglass/carbon lightweight replica of the original dash

yes yes yes but everyone is commenting how nice they look with just the rear bench out. Yea it aint really what the topic is about but I like it like that and if i had to do proper milage in one to work etc thats what id have. but I love mine stripped out

    Few laps of Bedford

Worst corner on the track in the Clio, very hard to get the power down, a little bumpy on the exit too. in 3rd you can get the power down easier as the engine willl be lower in the rev range and be less likely to spin up the wheels Who?
  29. Jay Payne

    Few laps of Bedford

Nice smooth driving, track looks quiet. Me and Tony have been using 3rd gear for the tight corner onto the long straight, seamed to be easier to get the power down
