Mine is only a track car and sits on the drive for a week or two sometimes. Ive never had a problem with it. I have got an optimiser for it so if im going away for an extened time (had 4weeks not using it) then just plugged it in and it keeps it all topped up nicey.

Mine was fine with the 'wrong' oil in it last year. Put the correct grade in it over the winter and it is so bad. Have to shift very slowly, not rush it Its fine in normal driving but a bit annoying on track
Saw Scottys mod for the strut tops, very good idea but as you say not for the squemish. Castor is seriously lacking on a Clio, phase 2's are better. the MOST we can get out of my phase 1 with the ast mounts is 1deg :dapprove:
Should prime for a second with ignition on, then run on cranking.
Could be the pump or control relay playing up.
