Is dash off in the Clio yes i'm afriad. Better idea in the megane and most others as you just unclip the tweeter cover and you can get them out like that. Still the dash top is only a 5 minute job in a clio anyway.
Hopefully its just popped out and is sitting there so you can see it when you take the passenger side driveshaft out. Trouble is sometimes once they've gone once they'll just keep on doing it.
Just hope it hasn't broken/dissapeared off into the box somewhere or that'll be fun getting it out. I wouldn't try it anymore until you've had a look as I wouldn't want to disturb it too much, bad news it if goes into the box/diff and gets pulled into something it shouldn't!
This is why they...
I've got them in the megane easily as good as my old kappas, they'll be ok running of the standard headunit but better of something which some more b****cks and even better amped like mine.
It covers it well enough to follow yes, I wouldn't bother clamping the hoses btw i'd just drain the lot and replace the fluid. Bleeding is pretty damn straightforward as it gets, getting to the column pinch bolt can be fun.
Yep as Dan R says its a propriotory interface which on the standard headunit runs theres a few companies that make the standard headunits they're either VDO dayton or alpines generally. The later VDO ones will play mp3s.
My bad then :o, only looked at the ebay ad must've missed it there. Still my points standard about the airbox clips and exhaust, although the belts were done very late werent they? It been serviced regularly otherwise?
F1s til I die, bloody brilliant tyre imo. GSD3s little soft in the sidewall but nothing major to cause problems, will be chucking some assemetrics on the megane as soon as i've killed these dunlops off.
The proper NGK PFR6E-10, circa £30 from here:

I've had a load of sets of plugs off them and they're 100% spot on.
I'd the inclined to agree, there was nothing wrong with the stalk and they're just trying to cover their own back. Sounds 100% like a UCH fault to me which does happen unfortunately and theres nothing you can do other than replace it.
