Pretty straightfoward, just swap the bulbs connect the ballast packs to the original wiring for the headlights and find somewhere to put them. Bingo hids.

The dCi80 seems to be the better middleground, you won't find that many dCi100s about and the JR5 box in them isn't the best. They can be remapped to circa 125bhp but the standard clutch can't handle the torque longterm iirc. The 80s are...
I'm not on about the purchase price i'm on about the cost to develop one that wouldn't be shite. For what they'd sell I bet it'd be a loss. The Mk1/Mk2 V6 was more of a "look at me!" exercise than one to make money.
Flame red or not, I still recon its had a front end bump.

Wheres the rubber strip that should go along the top of the front crossmember? And why is it rippled?
Main trouble isn't there isn't really a standard spec, I want one with the same level of toys as the 172. Xenons seem to be a rarity for a start :dapprove:.

Same here, and look at the upper front crossmember. Looks rather rippled along the edge, I know mines nothing like that its...
Is your 172 on a 52 plate and the dials don't look like this?: http://gallery.getflat.co.uk/v/My_Cars/2003_Renaultsport_Clio_172/Standard/IMG_1987.JPG.html?g2_imageViewsIndex=2
If so its one of the cars that for some reason weren't fitted with the right dials as afaik the RS dials don't have...
Well if its got hid bulbs in standard halogen clusters then thats not good either. Thats had some front end damage in the past, it'd only be CAT D etc if it'd been reported and written off through the insurerers which guessing by the not 100% repair job it hasn't.
That could look like flame...
It'll make you jump! But thats about it unless you've got a pacemarker or a weak heart lol. Just watch your fingers and you'll be fine. A spare lead and plug would be handy here.
Yes thats the aux belt tensioner tool. That lot will set you back about 60 sheets for both, do a search on the part numbers you'll find a few places sell them on the net.
