Mine has been like that for every one of its 72,000 miles.
No material oil loss from it for me either, they tend to weep a little.
If you can put up with it, do.
I think Mike from Rentech said you might be able to get it done under warranty though...to do it they've got to replace the...
I squeezed in 48.4 litres the other day.
I had to, I got caught short before (no Shell garage within reach) and had to put a splash of toss supermarket sludge in and wanted to get as much of it out as possible before giving it a proper feed with V-Power.
Any being a good driver is about minimising risk by not putting yourself in those "unexpected circumstances".
Everyone alsways bangs on about "suddenly this happens" and you've got no chance as you'll mash the brake pedal.
Nothing happens suddenly. An 85 year old duffer in an old Metro...
I don't disagree about it being a lifesaver, and no, I've never learnt the hard way.
I also agree that you can't plan for other people's actions, but what you described, your justification above for needing ABS, involved no-one other than yourself and a stationery vehicle.
You can take steps...
You've got to remember that the speedo doesn't start moving until I'm at 10mph...if you're going to time it you need to listen for when I engage the clutch and start moving.
Mods? Listed on the video clip.
If that were true, you would never drive at a speed at which you cannot comfortably stop within the distance you can see to be clear on your side of the carriageway.
Common sense really.
Harlow, not far from Brands...next year sometime?
I think 14 is a bit optimistic - I'm sure something was lost in translation from reality, to video, to PC, to putfile.
I think it's more like early 16's.
both sides of the steering wheel grip falling apart(very common apparently)but i can say my 53 plate 172 cup with 72k has been fine
You almost took the words right out of my mouth ;)
Perhaps it's because most of the people on Cliosport who are old enough or can afford one... already have one?
Very limited market IMO.
If I was selling I'd advertise mine everywhere but on here.
Agree...225's don't pull away at all.
Mr Townsend in his V6 with 255bhp...now he pulls away, not by much though, and he certainly doesn't eat me for breakfast.
To put things into perspective...
Great pics, shame there's no tripod action going on.
Looks even better from behind when chasing him :)
Are you coming down for Brands next Tuesday Northy?
Not a lot of difference to be honest.
You'd get a slightly sharper steering response from 16"s due to the lower profile sidewall, but you'd be hard pushed to feel that on the road.
You'd probably also get a slightly poorer ride.
I'd stick with the 15"s - cheaper rubber too.
Original calipers Chris?
Mine went at about 55k - the bushes that they're mounted on can wear so the whole caliper moves a little when you really call on them.
£75 exchange from Yozza/Fred IIRC.
