Yes he means the slides which the caliper guide pin screws into, i'm yet to take a set to pieces that hasn't got play in at least one of the slides. And for some reason one is usually fine and the other is slack as fook, the slide kit is £36 a side from renault (last time I checked) so a new...
At some point in the near future i'll be changing the cam and aux belt on my 172 the procedure looks to be very similar to when I changed it on my old 1.6 but this time i've got the addition of the phase shifter on the inlet camshaft.
In the renault docs it says (obviously) that you need to...
Nope is done with the engine in easily enough, its just a bit fiddly in parts. Bumper off and drivers headlight out for access is as far as you need go.
I had one without knowing the downsides and won't be using one again.
This is what happened: http://www.cliosport.net/forum/showthread.php?t=227182 was lucky to catch it before it got serious really.
You mean the undertray? Theres no cover between the engine and subframe. Theres the undertray that bolts to the underside of the subframe to keep the crap off the engine.
You won't get halogen bulbs to look like xenons i'm afriad. Best thing is just to get the best halogen bulbs you can, the normal clusters are pretty good actually.
Renault job I imagine this is the part number i've got:
60 00 073 778 STICKER 11.05 ---3 x 1
Price won't be right and it might not be 100% concurrent, just ring your local stealers parts department and ask them for a price on that part number.
The only time i've seen new pads some myself is when I put some standard ferrodos in Blooors 1.4. Went to give them a nice hard bed-in and they smoked a little but not a lot really, and this was after a good 3 60-0 runs.
I had that, i'd never have driven it everyday if it weren't for the bit I went too was 10 miles from the digs. Still ended up on loads of pointless drives, was some good rounds very near though.
Heatsoak? Shouldn't matter with a turbo'd car surely? The turbo is only going to heat it up further when it compresses the air, the intercooler is what then removes the heat.
I'm 28k with the standard exhaust, centre section rattles like a b**ch though. And its looking pretty damn rusty where the pipe joins the backbox, not long left for it I think.
The mid bass door speakers won't have any detailed high range so yes but quite seemlessly I find with mine you can't tell there coming from different locations they just work together well. I've got some Infinity Kappa 50.7s in the front and i've been nothing but impressed by them, no idea how...
Always handy lol, never going to help when your looking at one thing and you've got something totally different. Someone did you a favour then :dapprove:.
