Thanks mate...got mine due Nov 25th...will probably try a bit earlier just in case.
I've done 61K on original pads and discs at the back, and that includes every track day I've ever done and there's rust every day on the discs that just won't go  no matter how hard I brake.
I think...
I thought it was a V6 1.8 in the 323? I'm sure they used to lay claim to putting the smallest V6 engine into mainstream production?
They did do a 2.0 V6 that was in the Xedos 6, and a 2.5 V6 that, as above, was in the MX-6, and also the Xedos 9.
I've only ever run standard pads at the back Oms and DS2500 up front have been fine.
Practicing left foot braking...?
Try this - you're exiting a motorway and can see you'll need to stop at the end of the slip road, so, shift into neutral and try bring your car to the smoothest, slowest...
Well said that man!
I'm 35, and in my time as a yoof, built countless Airfix/Tamiya models of these behemoths... my fave was the 205 T16 - absolutely f***ing mental motor :D
You've heard?
Get out there and do it...that's what they're for...and a little spin round to the limiter (which is there to stop things turning ugly), even when new(ish) won't do it any harm whatsoever
I did with 300 miles on the clock, which was about 20 miles after delivery, and...
Ahh...but the Origin b2 doesn't keep up with a cars acceleration...can vary from 1 to 3 seconds lag behind actual speed...so, playing devils advocate...you could be running 0-60 in 9 secs?
*** runs ***
Or a track ? ;)
I like the sound of your 120d...I was considering sorting one out as a company car (I'm a sucker for RWD), and looked into chipping them too...but decided to keep running the Cup, and get a sh*tter for day to day when I retire the Cup for track/race use only.
That...
If the £100 is to be spent on looks, or ride, or feel, any of the above options.
If you want to spend the £100 to actually go faster, have some training on a trackday - that'll give you more than a set of springs or strut brace ever will.
I'd been following Evo magazines long term 172 Cup reports and thought "I've got to have one".
So I found an internet broker and ordered, without ever having seen one in the flesh, or even sat in it.
Most irrational thing I've EVER done in my entire life LOL
Lack of steering wheel reach adjustment, and with my legs set comfortably for the pedals, the gear lever's a bit of a stretch to get it into 3rd.
Apart from that, I'd change nothing as everything else is perfect IMO.
Mine has gone like that on both sides (quarter to 3 positions) which is exactly where my hands spend 99% of their time.
Crap leather...haven't bothered going back to the dealers, as they're proper monkeys since Rentech Mike left :(
Good excuse to get a decent racing wheel that's 2 inches...
I had an incident with a bus in Blackpool years ago, almost exactly the same as yours, the bus scraped along the back of the car I was driving. The f***er that was driving the bus drove off and I was running alongside banging on the window to get him to stop.
Then when all the details came...
Every economic report from my business bankers (RBS) that I get to see, shows the MPC's fiscal policy and base (or repo) rate forecast, as being stable for the next 12-18 months... i.e. no change in interest rates.
I'd say house over car, all day long.
Look how much you've lost on the car...
