19, 2yrs NCB on a 53 plate FF172 costs me £1650 or so with adrain flux. Were by far the cheapest for me but as said its not a cheap game as this age i'm afriad.
Its not as daunting as it sounds though tbh, I could have it off in about ten minutes including jacking the car up! Its only about 6 bolts and a few screws.
They'll fail anyway but using lowering springs only accelerates the process. New shocks and the springs should last a while though as long as your only going -35mm.
You need either a line level->rca converter, or get an amp with line level inputs then use them.
Its not the best idea though tbh more of a stopgap thing, i'd deffo look at getting a headunit with pre-outs the standard thing isn't that good really.
Dial diagnostic mode, not a lot really. Lets you check all the segments of the LCD are functioning along with all the other lights and gauges. Also shows you any faults stored and lets you see the fuel in the tank in litres and also shows fuel flow rate in l/hour.
So not that much useful tbh.
Lift the rear bench up and you'll see a black circle with some wires going through it, pull this up and you'll see the top of the fuel tank with the pump/sender sitting there. Theres a connector on the top of the sender which on of the wires that goes through the black plastic circle connects...
I had this with my old 1.6, what I did to sort it was pulled up the rear bench and took the fuel pump/sender cover off removed the connector and cleaned it up as it had a load of shite all over it.
And that took the light off, still can't work out why it does it though seeing as surely the...
Nope no acoustic valve on any of the non RS clios, bit of a b*****d to get a caf feed on them too. Going to the standard location behind the nearside headlight is usually more than sufficient especially for a 1.2.
Seems to have gotten a lot better then by the sounds of it, haven't really given them any notice for a long time tbh. They more than put me off any of their products a long time ago.
Broken ipods etc being returned under warrenty and coming back still broken with added marks and scratches. Granted its been a while since I looked into/saw anything about it so it might have gotten better.
