Want to change the spark plugs on my 172, obviously you have to remove the upper plenham to get to them right?
Do you need a new gasket between the upper and lower manifold branches when you remove/refit it?
Looking at replacing the standard exhaust on the 172 with a prospeed number and just want to see what tailpipes people have. Not sure whether to go stealth or cut into the bumper etc.
Cheers :)
And just because renault like being regular the light used to come on in my 1.6 and it still had about 2 gallons left in, if you let the light come on you could only ever get 9 gallons in before the pump cut off. And this 172 is completely different again :S, good old renault got to love them...
Saps power to drive the pump and when your going for an all out track car which I think ben is it all matters. And surely it will be more difficult to steer with a hydraulic rack with the engine being off due to you'll have to more the fluid in the rack? Will give a false impression of it being...
I've just bought a 53 plate with less miles for 6.5k so I think you'll find they'll offer you less. You can fight it but I guess they'll only go so far.
I'll stick a fragile sticker on them yeah sure no problem, but as I say in the auction if they get broken then its nothing to do with me. I've had one broken previously by royal fail, i'll pack them the best I can because I know how and where they break but if it still happens then its at buyers...
Got a 172 its pretty quick in the general scale of most cars you see on the road but in terms of "fast" cars its pretty damn slow tbh, and believe me a 1.2 may feel quick to you now but wait until you drive something with some power and oh how quick you'll change that opinion.
Had my old 1.6...
