Well you'll need to get some preouts from somewhere, so the options are either a line level converter, an amp with line level inputs or a RCA loom for the 6006e (not sure if this exists).
Neither of them are brilliantly ideal tbh, and the 6006e doesn't produce that good a sound imo. Although...
If its the same as the Mk2 then pin 1 of the ECU is the RPM pulse but i'm not 100% on the Mk1 so i'd get it confirmed first.
Thats also a distinct possibilty tbh, do the part numbers match? I'm assuming yours is a Mk1 Ph3 as its a DIET engine? Did the clocks come out of a Ph3?
Think you have to get an rpm pulse feed from somewhere because your loom has got one in it. Not sure where from though, would imagine from the ecu as its a DIET engine if its the one in your sig?
According to the haynes manual if its got a roll pin fitted (mine doesn't) it'll be by the inner CV joint at the gearbox end. You'll need to rotate the shaft until you can see it.
Just the various changes renault made as it was used in different cars over the years, it actually got less powerful but more economic as it aged.
It started off with a dizzy and a carb, yours has efi and coil packs. Just small changes, also the head casting/design changed as well.
What are the ones that interface with a laptop like? Any good? Can it do the same thing?

They sound brilliant, I had a carbon charger kit on mine although I lost soooo much power. Couldn't believe the difference after replacing it with a BMC IK.
