I wouldn't bother putting comps in the rear, i've done it because I got bored one saturday but it wasn't really worth the hassle for the (limited) improvement.
They use different boxes, the 1.2 uses the JB1 box and the 1.6 uses the JB3 (mines a JB3 979) due to the increased torque it produces. The ratios in the 1.6 are slightly higher than the 1.2.
Can't put my finger on it but it just doesn't look like a real RS for some reason. Even negating wheels and track it just doesn't look the same.

Because thats keyless start, you've still got to put the key in the ignition and turn it to the run position whats turning it another bit. Its just a novelty really, still has a degree of coolness I suppose.
Fitted some yesterday to mine, 30 min job total they were easy to fit. Hardest part was getting the powerflex bushes into the mount, just squeezed them in with the vice.

Oh yeah the ammount of play in the original bushes when I had the mount in the vice was unreal. I've had the engine hit the bulkhead a few times when its wheelspun so thought i'd give these a try and for all their good points they've got a big f**king bad one.
Yeh I was aware of the vibration issues but never expected it to be like this, it feels like a mates TVR just without the 350bhp and lunacy to go with it.

No it wobbled around before, but I guess the original bushes damped it out. Hmm, in two minds atm will stick it out for a bit see if I can put up with it.
