Ahh right, parkers are wrong then as they quote the 1.9D at 65bhp and the 1.9dTi at 80.
Would make for quite a quick motor then, when I was at college in doncaster there used to be a gal that had one. If it was one of these then it'd make for a right little sleeper.

Pretty much the same as the 1.2 16v baring torque obviously, its an old school mechanical injection diesel afaik so its nothing on the modern diesels.
Though on the no claims front even though you won't loose you no claims it does seem to push your premuim up even though it wasn't your fault.
My mates mum got rear ended by a taxi driver and when he came to renew (she was a named driver on his policy) it bumped his premuim up about £300.
May...
Thought you might of noticed it as everyone else seemed too :), just finished fitting a bmc to it 20 mins before and it sounds like an F1 car in vtec that noise is very addictive.
When I rebuild mine theres no gasket you use a specific renault sealant (may be other options), was about £10 from the stealers get more than enough to do the job.
And thats why I never get under a car thats only on a jack whether it be a trolley one or otherwise, if i'm going anywhere near under it then its axle stand time.
Theres only one way, the door cards have to come off and then you can disconnect the handle linkage to the lock and remove two securing bolts and they clip out. Not as bad as it sounds, took me about 20 minutes a side.
Hardest part is getting the door card off and thats easy enough.
Well i've done it with my 1.6 (was way before it needed it, long story) and it wasn't the easiest thing in the world because its a b*****d to get the gearbox off. But its nothing out of the ordinary for a fwd transverse mounted engine car.
Its in there you're just not looking hard enough :p, its for closing the vents off completely so no air can get in. Its what you get instead of a recirc button.
Yep, £400 is the max i'd be prepared to pay for a set of seats + doorcards. Maybe a bit more if it included a wheel and mats but still not a lot more but thats mainly because I want neither. £550 is miles over the top, £300 was a good price i'd snap their hand off if I found one for 300 notes.
I managed ~300 to a tank over the last two weeks, worst result ever. Probably because the AC hasn't really been off much, might be cold with it on but looks like i'm paying for it.
300 miles in two week is a record low miliage for me, finally looks like i'm starting to do less miliage thank god.
Hmm, looks like they changed the design in some way with the 2005 1.4 engine.
Previously the filters were the same in the 1.4 and 1.6 and i've got a 33-2194, like this...
