Thats was I thought as regards to washers. Oh well if it fails then I can either fit the washers which I might do eventually or refit the halogens get it mot'd and refit the xenons back. Afiak auto leveling and washers are for factory fit only, though technically these are so hmm.
Got them off...
Yep, the plug and socket is same one used by both the original halogen lights and the xenons. The only difference was I had to swap my height adjusters over as the 182 ones that came with the lights had a completely different socket to my loom and the original adjusters.
Just fitted these this afternoon, not really the weather as I was bloody roasting :dead:. Still the results are worth it.
And all for the pricely sum of £200, great upgrade they look awesome. Just wainting for it to go dark so I can try them out! There the 182 ones but the grey...
The authentique washer jet is completely different to the 172/dynamique spoiler one, the authentique washer is sqaure and the 172/dynamique one is round.
Brake light is a different shape too.
Short answer no they won't fit the V6 spoiler.
I've squeezed 4awg through the bonnet release grommet, just don't let it beat you and use plenty of brute force and ignorance and you'll get there. Took me a good 30 mins of fighting to get it through but once you can get a good handhold on it on the engine bay side your laughing.
I've come from a 1.2 16v to a 1.6 16v and believe me there is an absolute world of difference between the two.
For a start the 1.6 doesn't die as soon as you add more than 3 passengers and the extra torque makes it so much more easy to drive.
The 1.6 pulls to a ton as easily as the 1.2 pulls to...
I've got them in the rear until I can be arsed to get my components in, I like them give a good sound to me. Sounded good when they were in the front too.
Its a electronic oil gauge, yep it wants more oil putting in. Thought don't rely on the gauge to know if your put enough in its as its not supposed to be the most accurate thing in the world, use the dipstick.
edit: beated too it.
Its a cover for the engine wiring loom and unfortunately it chafes the wiring loom away. If its knackered the loom then its going to be big £££ unless its under warrenty.
Cobra 3868 Plip 2-1 Upgrade Alarm

I'm going for that, mainly because it works off the standard renault key because I don't want to carry an extra fob. Would imagine its very similar to the standard fit alarm as thats made by cobra too...
Mine will look exactly the same bar the alloys on monday when I fit my xenons, not sure whether to fit the washers or leave it like that.
Nice motor, love it.
Look on the block below the fuel rail cover by the oil filter, it'll be on there somewhere. Will probably be surface rusted up to fook and you'll probably need to take the fuel rail cover off it you want to read the fab. number.
Keep ringing until you get through to someone english, its freephone so its not like it'll cost you anything.
I just ring and if I get india I hang up before they've even said anything and try again, eventually you'll get someone who's english and your laughing, they've always been spot on for...

Could be the temp sensor fan for the climate but it'd probably do it all the time if it was and it wouldn't sound like its coming from the dash as its above your head.
Nope this ones totalled, I might be able to fix it but it'd never pivot for the self adjuster again. Need to try and find a new casing for a non astromonical price so I can get cracking whilst royal mail piss about with the insurance claim.
Anyway to do the above ?
Seems royal mail have played football with my xenons and the passenger side lense/reflector part has broken off one of the clips inside, could repair it but theres one way I can see I can get into the light to glue it.
Yeah seen that, from the same person I bought the current full set from i've got sitting behind me. Unfortunately after waiting a week royal mail seem to have broken the passenger side one so the reflector/lense is floating around the inside of the light. Can see where its broken and could glue...
^^
Yep, thats what I was going to recommend with a 2.5mm->phono adapter.
You'll have no control over the zen through the headunit but its the only way it'll work, always gives you the option to plug other things in too.
