I've used a 500ml syringe and some tubing to suck it out the dipstick hole in the past.
Have found that when using the drain plug for letting a bit out it tends to spray oil everywhere when you try to put it back in no matter how fast you are.
Wants plugging up iirc. Tape might do the job but a bung of some sort would be better. Wouldn't cut it incase you ever want to put the valve back in for some reason.
Although i'm not 100% have you tried opening the fob part of the key as if you were changing a battery as I'm almost certain that the actual key part is just clipped in and can be pulled in and out of the fob part.
I imagine that the fob is universal until its programmed and the only specific...
Never seen it before on either of the two clios i've had. You checked the part at the rear where the bulbs plug into is fully clipped in against the cluster ?
Looks OK to me hardly chavved up, its probably the 1.5 e-VTEC engine and there about 100bhp as far as I know. Being a honda the miles shouldn't be a problem as there generally pretty bulletproof engines. A friends got one same year not sure about the miliage but hes had it a few years and its...

The front wipes are both 21" afiak, well thats what i've got on mine 21S/21.
The rear wiper only comes from renault but I seem to remember that a civic rear wiper is exactly the same and about half the price from honda, can't exactly remember so may be talking b****cks.
Well for some reason the alternator rain cover didn't fit on mine properly as it was too short to reach the clips at the top. Don't know why as the clips and positions look exactly the same.
If it was fine before the i'd imagine the non renault one isn't seperating the clutch plates enough so its still partially transmitting drive to the gearbox making it difficult to get gears. The renault one should sort it out.
I changed the oil on my 1.2 about 3 times in the space I had it and I only changed the sump washer once, mostly because I forgot to get one and it never leaked a drop.
The 1.6 has had a new washer every time and its still weaping now, mind you its not done up to 35nm either as thats pretty high...
I'd take the 17's off before it goes back to renault because they may argue that they've contibuted to the problem.
Sounds like the syncros are worn or knackered, I had it on my old 1.2 on 1st and 2nd but it had done 36k and was 4 1/2yr old and it shouldn't have been happening then. Seeing as...
Mines a 03 and it needs regassing (i think), has never got as cold as my old 1.2 did its more of a cool. Luckily the extended warrenty i've got covers it so its being done for free :), unfortunately i've got to wait until the 1st August. Good old Renault.
Who cares about fuel economy, the AC button is the first one I press after starting the car in this heat. Pitty its only half working at the moment and it won't be sorted until 1st August when its probably gone cold again but oh well.
Worst thing about having ac in the car is when you have to...
I wasn't excluding them from being 1.6 16v's I was excluding them from the warm hatch bracket as they are definetly a step above.
What I was saying was look at the small hatches fitted with a 1.6 16v engine of any kind and pretty much all of them bar the VTS and 106 GTi fall into the warm hatch...
I'd take a test drive in a 1.6 before you write it off, just to be sure. Just find one at a dealership in your area and go and give them the i'm looking to upgrade speach, get a test drive and see what you think. Won't cost you anything and will give you closure.
Although you were obviously...
