Hmm, looks like a possible electrical fire waiting to happen to me, I don't care what the cables supposed to be I still wouldn't trust it, its only takes one thing to happen.
But hey its your car and up to you in the end.
Just something I noticed, you do have a fuse at the battery as well don't you?, as well as before the amp because if you've only got the one in the pictures then the cable before the fuse is completly unprotected.
The 1.2 gets cained when its warm whenever I get the urge which is quite often. When I pick the 1.6 up i'll be steady until I can get some decent oil and a new filter on it then I can be amazed how quick it is for about a week. :)
You probably need to swap the red and yellow connector on the hu loom. Though could be that its only got one live, does it have a red and yellow wire in the car loom ?
Short answer is that you probably don't need to run a feed from the battery.
The GND cable needs to be grounded to the chassis, somewhere with good metal to metal contact no paint.
I've used the isofix bolts in the boot for mine, but depending on what mk your clio is you might have to find somewhere else.
Disconnected the speaker level input as you don't need them, the...
On my 1.2 16v the gearstick jumps around the place like no tommorrow. Mounts were all intact, never jumped out of gear and never had any trouble selecting gear.
Assumed it was normal because Renault made the mounts of cheese or something, will have to seen if my new 1.6 16v does it.
Well settled on it and am picking it up next thursday, looking on autotrader its about around the right price for the age/millage without having to travel a massive distance.
172 would have been nice but was simply not an option, only 18 and the best quote i've had is £3500 compared to £800 for...
Right, went to look at a 1.6 clio this afternoon and it impressed me no end, everything I like about my clio just with some much needed poke.
Was going to get a yaris t-sport but balls to that i'm staying loyal lol.
Basically what i've been offered on a 2003 1.6 16v Dynamique with 24k miles is...
No its a fluorescent light behind me thats been reflected does look like a scratch in that pic.
Washed it with a karcher spinning attachment thing and bog standard halfrauds pressure washer car shampoo.
As for the polish I have absolutely no idea, my grandad is a carpenter for this bloke who...
Finally its been warm enough for me to give the ol' babe magnet a proper wash and polish :). First time its seen it since about November, winter does definetly not bring weather for car washing.
Its by not means to the standard i've seen on here but its good enough for me.
Should have got...
I think the sensors for the gauges aren't actaully there, just the plug.
I'm sure someone can give you a striaght answer but i'm pretty sure that their not there.
I get this on starting once in a blue moon, only does it when its really cold.
Could be anything really, though i'd take a poke at the coil pack/spark plugs, the d4f likes to eat them for breakfast.
I've upgraded all the speakers in mine and its well worth doing, the front factory tweeters don't really effect the door speakers that much really and to be honest it needs the extra treble because the rears are quite muddy in their oem locations so the extra treble from the front stops you from...
Jumping on the bandwagon :

Got bored and moderately stripped it one afternoon, other than that its got a K&N panel filter of power.
I worryingly have quite a few of these sort of vids :S.
If you manage to get hold of either of the later map versions then let me know where you got them from if you wouldn't mind, the ones i've got are a bit out of date. Tries to send me the wrong way round the one way system in town :S.
