    Not to be difficult but I don't recomend Koni infact I don't recomend any as the only decient stuff is so expensive people buy coilovers. Lowering sprrings wear dampers quicker how muchis like saying how long a piece of string.

    Any pricing ideas....

    Aftermarket stuff shows cars are often driven harder and dealers don't want them return it all to standard is always better. Return to standard or you'll be worse of unless you find someoen whos despirate for what you've got.

    Break for bit but people want a 2.0 bottom end these day often as it better for power. Personally you'd be very lucky to see £2k IMO.

    Not likly. Why bother pushes it to a new level price wise plus there no engine and box to use give it 225hp and the Megan looses out as the bigger car plus what box to use stock 197 one is already near the limit.     Fan belt can be somehting different. Engine have chnaged cars used to have fan belts drive of what is a sort of aux belt but also had aux belts to power other stuff.

    But his car was basically a shell with 172 running gear he changed all the looms for a car which had air con his engine was already was wired for the air con. Inface he has CC anyway not just air con so needs to sort the interer coolent temp sensor probelm as a normal car doesn't have it.

    Don't bother I've never though just springs are worthwhile. IF you want p prove Renault havn't done the suspension design ring £100 worth of springs won't fix it.

    There seems to be a random group of cars wit and without it I'vve sen 172 full fats withouth them and cups without it and normal cars with it and without it. The give away is what type os front loom connector there is as ones with it have a different tyype of clip.

    182 Dampers

    The ride isn't right hit a bump and the car won't fel like it wants to stop going up and down. You should replace both front or back at once just since dampers wear so you want they both to be the same wear level.

    You need a garage to change the bearing over since you need a press to push new ones in.

    There three different types on the 1.2 have a search round. 8mm square sump nut for the plug though halfords etc sell them.

    Sounds like the lambeda sensor might have a prolem they can cause trouble. If it comes back againtake it to a dealer and they should be able to check what the exact problem is and fix it.

    Ben, could you get some sort of variable timing system made to help adjust the cams for the high and low rpm work I know the 172 stuff not hugly advanced but that sort of thing or is the costs prohibative for the minimal gains?

    Yep thats what happends when the indicatos faul the relay works twice as quick its a warning.

    Some coilovers kits don't come with adjustable rear suspenion heights.
