I know my old phone used to do it a bit if you leave it near speakers it makes the speakers crackle ever now and again. This new (older) phone of mine seems to do it constantly and its not like its signallying that a text or call is due nothing seems to happen.
Anyone any idea whay this...
Yep would be good to see bike stuff would be ideal a 600 or so bike T/B's
Fred you know if your bored I've got an ideal what you can do with your old engine.
Piper or kent do a reprofilling cheap but its the same as the 172 type ie its tappety I belive.

Mike T on her's got his to 440hp or so with superchrager but he's spent a lot there no internal limit it depends how you go about tunning superchrager ROn fuel you run normall aspirated etc.
There quite a few bits for tunning but the prices are huge. For cams alone you need 4 so thats minimum...
Renault dialogues are what your looking for there on ebay all the time.
I've got a pdf file on th 172 from the dialogues PM me your email address and i'll send you a copy its on the phase 1 but there phase 2 is much the same engine wire wiring is ifferent and throttle bodies etc but nothing...
Each pad has different bedding in I've always bedding mine in with some hard 60-10 stops or a lot of left foot braking and never had any trouble.
You have to get some heat into them early to get rid of the protection on them.
Renault never type tested the 172/182's for a tow bar therefore fitting one invalides insurance as the car hasn't been rated to tow.
The body sheel of a 1.2 though is the same as a 172 its just the 1.2 etc were type tested to tow.
The 172/182 arn't ideal for towing the clutches and engine...
All Clios use cable clucthes. They shoulnd't be excessive it depends what your used to I've nver found any cars as heavy as a Clio clutch. if I had to drive round town much I'd never buy a Clio the clutch is to heavy.
Price try Auotrader motorway miles makes no difference as none can prove...
172/182
Normal servicing is done ever 12k or 2 yrs there is a 1 month/1k tolerance so you can have it done up to 25month or 13k before any warranty implications. Beyond this time/warranty period you maybe asked by Renault for a % payment from yourself for warranty work depending upon how much...
Chnage the gearbox ol for something decient ,it can help a lot. it might just be you need a top up of oil as gearbox can leak and there no warning light to warn you off it.
A few quid. Say £6 for 4.
Fred will have some spare though most likly.
Just thinking if you don't have an RS (I'd though you had a 172) there 13mm bolts. not 14mm like the 172/182 use.
Renault for offical ones.
You can in theory run any bolts 14mm diamter thery are but if you want to run more camber then use a 14mm for the bottom and a 13 or 12 for the top one.
Just use some decient bolts. B and Q arn't acceptable. They arn't done upto much torque (100NM) but if they fail...
The lower bolts which hold the shock to the hub he's on about ideally you should replace them but I just use locking compund and torque them up right and there fine.
Its not my cup of tea but I would like to clean my car eveyone has there own preferences hence this forum and the tunning forums are differetn if you don't like don't look.
My cars washing take place when its serviced (ever year).
Suspension is the best bet spend on H and R or Leda is you've the money then brakes next if you've trouble with them fading.
Engine wise tunning isn't good value best options are to get the intake manifold worked the 182 exhaust manifold and a remap plus a decat (you need to bodge a Cat so a...
10hp form stock engine won't happen.
Forget the whole idea you can do it prices for good stuff ie cams won't be cheap and at the end 100hp would be a good target even cheap cams though with all the bits and you can spend £1.2k easy.
Matt Black on here sells all the bits to convert your car...
Only just seen how bad my spelling there was.
Manurfacturers had to install them and the tolerances were tigthened a lot but with a decat you can still somtimes get through.
