Quite a few vw 02m gearbox conversions done over here on the higher powered 172/182 conversions. Can get an adaptor plate and flywheel to suit from Efiparts. Megane boxes are alright for decent power. Mine is on ndo020 6 speed, tight fit in the engine bay.

Can you get away with moving the engine over a bit on the mounts?

Vapour blasted parts look mega. Give the cam cover and inlet a power wash off before fitting if you havent already, as mine had some left over white media residue on them that was very hard to see and quite a bit came off when washed.

Speedlines look great, rare set with the embossed logo. Not a bad list of jobs to do.

As above all 10mm are slip on, which is usually fine as you still have a small amount of centre bore for wheel to locate. Stub axle spacer much better option on rear though

Cts rarely fail on these. Change the thermostat first that will probably resolve your issues.

Ebc yellows are crap, swerve them. Ferodo ds1.11 front and rear and decent fluid, motul rbf600 or similar will do the job. Also id stick to plain brembo hc discs. Grooved or drilled dont usually offer much, or if any performance gain.

Syringe it out before going. I left mine on minimum all the time after that, didnt cause any issues.

Echo the above, Drop the pas fluid level to the minumum level. It will save it chucking it out with heat and damaging the pump.

No difference in wishbones. Use oem bushes up front for road and occasional track, febi bushes seemed ok oem equivalent when i fitted a set years ago to a 265. Track use only use uniball bushes. Dont bother with poly bushes on front wishbones, they are crap as the rears cannot rotate like oem.

Bearing issue that, can see caliper is not moving and wheel is in vid. Age old axle spacer issue and prob a cheap disc/bearing. Super easy to do yet so many get it wrong.

Also if your using a manual tensioner, you will need a seem gauge to check and set cambelt tension via frequency.
