pattern 182 full fat in inner tie rods

I think they're about 36mm but I'd need to measure it up mate to confirm 100%. Yeah you can swap them around and use to tighten the steering arms.

pattern 182 full fat in inner tie rods

As in the one that slides over and has teeth that grip the steering arm? If so then yes, I've used one and they're fine. I certainly didn't have any issues when removing mine. Yeah they were tight, but they've got to be.

    Trial fitted the brembos

No spacers and a cup turini. You can't run wheel weights where the caliper runs though! Yeah your going to need a spacer mate. Not all 15's will fit so choose wisely. My 15" turinis wouldn't fit over @Cub. 's setup. Ever!! 197/200/225/230 brembos are all the same. 250's have a larger pad...

    Trial fitted the brembos

    16's. A brembo won't fit behind a 15 on a 300mm disc.

    Like this you mean?

    Trial fitted the brembos

I'm already running softer front springs than is ideal, so I'm ok there! I couldn't think of anything worse though than removing the engine and box for the flywheel. Plus it would throw the entire bottom end balance out! Lol

    Trial fitted the brembos

There is a weight reduction. Sold it to me! Lol
  8. NorthloopCup

    Trial fitted the brembos

Yeah no problem mate. It'll be an easy way to wave good bye to £500 though! It may be cheaper if I'm having 2 sets machined up though.
  9. NorthloopCup

    Trial fitted the brembos

Almost identical colour to mine on your calipers mate! Just a sticker colour differentiates them pretty much! I've got green hoses as well! Lol!

    Trial fitted the brembos

As @MartinR says, it's all about the pad swept area. You'd need a bell and rotor setup of you didn't want the rusty unswept area around the disc. That's what I'll be doing on mine.

It's the air temp sensor mate. Not sure why Renaultsport decided to put it that far forward, but it's possibly to stop any heat soak issues like you'd get if it was in the inlet manifold.

Just for you @M.C.. Happy now?! Lol! Also did the airbox where it butts up to the airboxAnd finally for today, we have some oil for the initial start up and run. Got a lot going on the next week or so, so I doubt I'll be doing much on it. More to come. In a week or so. Lol!

Get the tracking set with you in the drivers seat as well. Your weight no matter how small or big it is, will alter your toe settings.

@Fletcher take a pic of the inside of the wheel if you can. Need to see the internal strengthening rib.

    Brembo 197/200 calipers behind 2118s.

What offset are your 2118's mate? The lower the offset, the easier it will be in terms of running a spacer. I'm pretty sure someone on here has had the brembos and 2118's fitted without much hassle, but I can't remember who! @Cub. can you think who it could've been?

SPA Oil Temp & Pressure Gauge Installation

No problem! Best Clio forum for the best Clio advice! Yeah basically you need to squeeze the white plastic section on the oil pressure switch, then pull it off the sensor. After that it's just a case of getting a spanner on the sensor base itself. Failing that, a deep socket should be...

SPA Oil Temp & Pressure Gauge Installation

You might get a small amount of oil that comes from where the oil pressure sensor is, but it'll be only a small amount. Just place a rag underneath it to catch any oil that comes out.

    What are these wheels?

Without doubt they are 100% oz superturismos.

The oil it'll be running on once it's mapped is Mobil motorsport. It's a 10W60 and I've always run my motors on it. Off the top of my head I'm not sure tbh. Need to have a look at it and see what's left.

Sloppy gearbox and crunching into 1st

The worn items won't be helping with regard to the crunching into first, but there's no way to rule out if 1st gear synchros are dead until the worn items are replaced. If it's nailed the synchros your in bother as its a box strip replacement. You also need to factor in that you can no longer...

    Turbo conversion

I think the links to the reviews that have been posted should help you towards making a final decision. There is a lot of owners on here that have written about their experiences with both CT and ED, so it's worth a search or a look through the projects section. I'm going to lock the thread...

Lol it'll be cheap s**t mineral oil for the initial start up and run in. So that'll be however many miles it takes to get from my house to efi. After that it's done.
