Yes it's taken a while but we are most certainly back in the game now!
Lol! I don't mind looking it over mate at all, but keep in mind you'll be spending about £160-£170 just in raychem!
Ok, so who's getting bored of me posting wiring loom pics? Lol! Really starting to come together now as you can see below. All that's left to sort is the coolant temp sensor, crank sensor, lambda sensor wiring, speedo drive sensor wiring and re-pin the new stuff that's going into the ecu. Theres...
Little bit more done over the weekend. It's a real case of slowly slowly catchy monkey currently as I'm only getting an hour or so at a time.
What your looking at here is the loom for the alternator charging signal, oil pressure switch, oil level sensor, air temp sensor and the knock sensor...
Yeah that's fair enough mate. It's much of a muchness tbh in terms of performance between the quiafe and the gripper if using them in road biased cars. The gripper obviously comes into its own for track/race use as you can get the ramp angles set to make it more aggressive on the exit of turns...
Well there's a deal to be had either way. For instance, if @Fletcher @Tim. and @Christopher. wanted quaifes, but @Fraser.J. and @scotiamr2t wanted grippers, I can get a deal on the quaifes and the grippers. All I'd need to know is who wants what so we've got some numbers and I'll get a price.
If only that was the case mate! Worth noting though, if you both chose to go for a gripper, I can get a slightly better deal on 2 grippers vs 2 quaifes. Food for thought maybe?
The grippers and servicing isn't something to worry about either if that becomes a concern. They all come with the new...
Yeah it's the 2.9kg one I can get mate. £255 delivered. I can get the pulleys like I've got on my engine as well, but sounds like your too late mate.
Yeah standard valeo clutch is fine bud. That's what I'm running.
It's alright mate I've seen them on eBay, just wasn't sure what size yours was! The 'small' looks ridiculously small in terms of measurement, but oddly not so much on the pics of it on your car! Lol!
Measure the distance from the back of the seat mate not from the collar bone. You may well find that its 500mm or less, so in this case you don't need them to x over. I've never seen them crossed when a harness bar has been used in that position tbh.
