I had a guy in 1.3 CDTI Corsa overtaking everyone including me on the way to work this morning, I just laughed as he risked his life to gain 2 car lengths.
He then proceeded to go around a roundabout in the inside lane (the wrong lane in this case). I was just driving normally in the ouside...
You said it Swalesy. Fecking hound, and the gimp looks like the crazy frog. Used to drive an old shape rover 214 sei which had the same treatment. Tool
LOL, that sounds just like the one I pointed out to a mate earlier, supposedly full 182 spec?
My exact words were 'Far too cheap for my liking'.
The 6th one down...
That's the badger. Just a corteous flash back which temporarily blinds the moron and makes them feel even worse because they were too tight to spec xenons on their 318i and didn't want to sacrifice the immitation M3 alloys.
I don't know if the plastics are the same on a Clio but my Chipsaway guy uses a heat gun (paint stripper type) on mk1 Corsa arches where they fade really badly.
He doesn't do anything major, just lightly covers the whole area until it darkens. Works a treat.
I've used these guys before: http://www.dentsolutions.co.uk/
Probably miles away from you but they were superb.
£140 all in and he took around 11 dents out of 1 rear quarter and 5 from the other with a fantastic finish. Must have taken him around 2 and a half hours.
He was recommended by my...
You're right to say that and on this particular day I was biting which is just as bad. It was just a culmination of idiots which was driving me insane. But 99% of the time, I just let them get on with it.
It just seems that there is something about the Clio which provokes people. The same...
PM Rich, the wizard of cleaning. He might be able to provide a bag of his magic fairy dust for a small fee which turns any car into a mirror.
Try the detailing section as well mate.
Now that the sun is out, it seems that every man and his dog is out for a race.
Friday was the worst day so far on the way to work. I had a Porsche Cayenne trying to jump me to the lights, a 530d glued to my bumper coming onto a roundabout, needless to say he wasn't there on the other side...
Relatively easy to get to if you have smally girly hands. If the cat is doing its job, you shouldn't really be getting an emissions warning as the sports cats still filter the exhaust gasses.
Exhaust has just snapped going into back box, it's after market as well. My strut brace has snapped the ECU mounting bracket. The gear gaitor has decided to come loose. The tracking is out. There is an oil leak from the garbox fill hole. Etc.....
Sorry for the hijack. Have you had any issues with it running lean with the manifold match and the grp n Lagerlout? I have a Pmurray remap and want a BenR manifold but don't want to pay for another map.
SO if you were to see a copy of my map or some of its values, would you be able to tell wether or not there is enough 'give' to account for the manifold mod?
They do look good but for all the man hours in the body shop and the aftermarket skirts to fit, you would surely be better off with the RS wings and skirts and saving all the hassle. Unless you want to be differnet.
If you don't, you'll have Turinis and a Cup spoiler fitted at the same time LOL.;)
Even with mods? So where does the need for the remap come in Ben? Please excuse my ignorance.
I am really tempted by one of your manifolds but I really don't want to pay for another remap.
Would the MOT emmissions test be roughly accurate as my MOT is due next month so I could tie it in with that. The simple reason being that I only want to test it once to see wether I have the scope in my map/fuelling to do so and £190/320 is a bit much for just a test.
Many thanks for the input...
It was a Pmurray reflash. I also have a Janspeed sports cat which would also account for the sootiness. Normally I would never even associate sootiness with running rich, it was just a thought I had leading from another thread.
I might just take the plunge with a matched manifold. What do you...
Following on from another thread. Is there any quick and easy way of measuring AFR?
I had my ecu mapped a while ago which did make a difference but I am now getting a sooty exhaust. Now I wouldn't think a sooty exhaust definately meant I was running rich but I would like to know wether I can...
