Would I need to allow for the breather on the inlet elbow or could I simply vent it?

Specs taken from the Samco site: Bore Bore Wall thickness Leg length 70mm 2 3/4" 5.0mm 125mm To be used in conjunction with the standard airbox on a Mk2 172. Will the leg length be sufficient and could I vent the oil breather to the atmosphere?

As Pete said, the Trophy struts are about £60 each from a stealer and the V6 around £135 each or so I have been told. I can get them from the scrappers for peanuts, if I pay at all.

Would it help if you disconnected the battery overnight after a change in fuel type prompting the ECU into learn mode? Or does the Clio not have this facility?

Got a V6 spoiler in the shed. I can get the part number for you if you know where it is on the spoiler itself. Trying to get hold of some V6 struts or alternatively, find out the length of full extension then I'm going to raid a scrap yard.

If you retained your standard springs and dampers would you not just be retaining your standard 182 setup. I am not exactly sure what the subtle differences were but am pretty sure those 2 components would play a large part. Could you not have the geometry set up as per a cup?
