I must admit Subway I did expect a larger drop which is why I raised the point earlier. It may be wise to leave them for a week to see if they settle. I have always thought Cups looked high as a kite anyway though.
Having said that, a friend of mine had a Civic with uprated springs and dampers...
I have a Piper X panel filter with an uprated feed with the removal of the acoustic valve. It all depends wether you want to spend £50 on a setup like mine or £200 on a Viper. Whatever you do though, do not buy a K&N 57i style open filter as they simply draw hot air and will lose you power...
It's always good to hear different opinions. I take it you have experience of both the Eibach and Apex Evo?
What sort of drop and handling/ride balance did you get with the Sportlines?
No mate, you don't need to vent it, I have just angled mine towards the road. You could fit a filter, catch tank or a modified Coke bottle LOL. If it's not your thing though, hey ho.
I just liked the sound of it as it costs half as much as the Hill Power option and improves performance...
Seconded. Don't leave anything to the imagination. Cover any detail a potential buyer may need to know so they know exactly what they are bidding on. That way, they have no reason to waste your time.;)
Try run a feed right down to the wheel arch liner vent. The vent is angled to allow air into the wheel arch liner. I have removed the acoustic valve and my air feed sits right on top of this vent.
You should be able to put the wheels anywhere as they should all now be balanced. The way I understand balancing is that weights are tactically placed around the rim to counter the imbalance in the cast hence a balanced wheel with no wobble. May be wrong though.
Why do you not want ET38's? I have just fitted Cup Turinis which have an ET38 offset which has made the car much sharper and more responsive. The looks have also improved with the wheels filling the arches as they should.
The first one looks like Clarkies old 172. Superb. I think i'll get the -40's then save up for some coilies as I don't think springs alone will achieve the full effect.
Thanks again though bud. Much appreciated.:approve:
Is that a 40mm drop Subway? Any before pics as I was hoping they may be lower than that, they haven't settled though I suppose.
How do you find the ride now, any Ace Ventura moments where you're all over the place?
And the handling is much improved?
Looks good though.
You were bored! LOL. What angle was the first section of vid and how did you mount the camera?
Sounds great though, especially when you boot it/it comes on cam.
That looks more driveable but I don't think it quite hits the same spot as the lower one. Hmmm decisions. Still looks good though.
Are these a good representation of 15mm and 40mm drops Baz or are they only rough? I ask as I'm not too hot on PS at the mo.
Well it was 15mm for the Pros' and 40mm for the Apex so I could compare but that looks superb. I think it does anyway. Payday on Friday. Woop woop.
P.S. thanks muchly Baz.
I don't think I have cracked it. I will check the caps etc. Thanks for that Has, it gives me a good starting point. The drill and hammer can stay in the cupboard, for now LOL.
Hill Power maybe?
Or Team Think for an elbow minus the breather intake. A better option IMHO. Only £19 as well.
Or try here. Provisionally sold but bully him and he might give in LOL.

I still haven't managed to work out how to use Photoshop properly.
Could I ask someone to do me a very quick favour and lower my car 15mm to emulate the effect of Eibach Pros then 40mm for the Apex/Sportlines.
My nearside headlight is starting to fog up. Before I crack out the 8lb hammer and electric drill Homer style, can it be fixed (without Renaults help)?
