for a decent quality job that sounds about rite. Have you got prices on having them sprayed before you fit them? Far easyier job for them
If you shop around you might find a little bit cheaper, but you pay for quality at end of day
they look as good as the k-tec option if not better judging by the picture, how they perform is another story . . . for that price id be cautious. Sportlines nearly cost that
Mines a stolen recovered. No its not perfect, but it is 100% sound mechanicly. Who would not be attracted by a 172 cup on 31k in the summer of 2008 for £2,800. Dosn't bother me in the slightest, I plan on keeping it until its death anyway or just having it as a track toy in the long run
at your age putting additional drivers on insurance puts the price up. It only makes it cheaper if your under 21 as I just found out as turned 21 and gone through insuring for a year again. Try direct line. Im 21 with 3 years ncb and pay 700 on a 172 cup
company car hands down
172 bassed on 24k a year. 300 miles to a tank at £50 a time comes to £4k alone . . . so your already -£1k on what they pay you plus what any other maintaining costs there are. You'd be out of pocket big time
May be worth a word, just an idea. Upto you at end of day. But you've done him a favour and your the one loosing out.
Dont mean to stick my nose in just hate seeing people pay money out there own pocket for something and see nothing in return
Icarus, I know you say you've involvement in this is done, but is there no chance you could get it back and do the final stages yourself or along with another tuning company. There are places out there that would make this happen in a matter of weeks. Im sure loads of renault sport tuning...
Last one I did was on a megan coupe all work on same principle cost £16 from factors, about half hour to fit give or take. Easy job, just awkward working on floor and under car
either linkage fell of or broke, i've had same £35 for second hand mechanism . . . make sure you get the rite one though (plugs differ)
Rubber off scuttle, remove wiper arms, unscrew any screws on scuttle, lift and pull towards front bumper
