Craggy - are you sure you wouldnt get a better price for yours selling it on here? Its not like anyones going to accuse it of being slow or anything.... Might make the Cup a more tempting proposition if you could get another grand or so for it, and maybe youd get a bit off the Cup/VTS for no p/x?

The increase in torque is particularly impressive. In standard trim the engine really dies after around 6000rpm. According to that plot these mods give an extra 25 or so lbft at the top-end which will make a real difference.

Demon Tweeks will sell you a Pipercross panel filter (the sponge / oil type). Mine cost about £30. Had my 12,000 service last week and told the dealer it was installed & therefore not to change the air-filter - no problems at all.

Report him. Gestures are one thing (come on, weve all done it), giving your car a nudge is entirely another. He committed an offence by failing to stop after an accident (even if it wasnt an accident). You have not committed any offence.
LOL GR.. Been to my Renault dealer this morning - theyre setting up a massive Scalextric track for the weekend to tempt the local petrol-heads in for a drive in the new Megane. The model cars have a lot of plastic panels but no rattles or squeaks.

Pretty simple really. Cars need air and fuel to produce power. The more the merrier. The assumption here is that the standard air-intake (airbox and filter) is restrictive, owing to the manufacturers desire to make it as cheaply as possible and keep the noise down. An induction kit replaces the...

£500 will buy exhaust and induction kit with change to spare (k-tec do a good relocation kit). Or loads of nice ICE if thats your bag! Or how about lowering it? (£120-ish). Wheels are more expensive but they do look nice, you might want to have a look at some.
If it was me Id do the zorst and...
Sling the thing in the skip and get an aftermarket one if youre faced with having to contribute towards a Renault replacement - theres something about 172s that makes them eat exhausts.
They did boob with the jack didnt they LOL. The other boob was not supplying a trackday car with a spare wheel - you couldnt exactly use that foam staff and then go back out for a few more laps now could you?
