SRP masks alot of swirls with its fillers to hide them aswell as removing minor ones, it wont actually layer up like a sealant or wax, but a few applications may help depending on paint condition.
Some pics of the day, that I have quickly looked at:
Chrissy in Quali.
Jeeves in the race.
The accident :( These are cropped from the background of pictures of cars passing me, I did not actually notice them through the lens at the time.
Daz to the rescue - top bloke
Tell the driver that getting off the racing line is enough, he must park on the grass safely out the way from out of control Evo's !
Hopefully Chrissys 106 will be back to be on track.
The Ag bodyshop range is very old fashioned.
I would look into some more modern style polishes such as Menzerna which help to great a better finish. The diminishing abrasives in them mean they start of with a decent cut, but break down as they are worked to create a nice gloss and finish...
I was not aware of his Bobbies move till the early hours of the morning when I got home.
I dread to think what would have happened with out that fence was not there, or if his car had landed more ontop of Chrissy rather than just coming down on the bonnet.
With you on that, as soon as the Evos...
Wash, clay and dry.
Clean the area to touch up, apply the paint. Allow to dry, then wet sand and polish.
I use Menzerna polish as I would on the paintwork by machine, or S100 plastic polish when working by hand.
Yeap Monaco was Dee's. I have just spotted myself in the picture behind Chrissy's car in the Parc Ferme.
Was a horrible looking crash, Dee and myself where watching between Folly and Avon Rise when it happened, was busy taking pics when I saw the Evo in the air, as it came down we realised it...
I always used to want a wanted a EsCos, grew up in that era drooling over them, and was very close to buying one before I purchased the 182, only the lack of a big enough garage put me off. Now the appeal has gone away though. Now the appeal is just not there, but on the other hand the Clio V6...
AG Shampoo cleans well and leaves a great finish. It does not make may bubbles as it is not meant to, the slickness of the wash solution it makes is ideal for safely removing dirt. The foam and bubbles actually don't matter or do anything.
There are better shampoo's out there though.
lol @ the...
Working by hand Megs Scratch X is ok, takes alot of work you may be better of trying these from CARLACK - Car-Lack 68 - Hand polish kit
As long as you don't go for aggressive bodyshop type clays most are very alike. The Megs one just works out expensive IMO. Plus you can make you own clay lube...
Not used G3 or G10, but getting a hologram free finish is where the skill in using a rotary is. Worth read on on www.detailingworld.co.uk on the Rotary use threads.
Personally I would look into what polishing/ finishing pads your using as well as your polish/compound choice - what speeds does...
Dysons are shite, the old chap used to sell them in his shop - he does not bother now over priced tat.
Vaxes are better but I would go for Henry or George lol
