They are really easy to take off mate!! Use a flat head screw driver (preferably with celotape or material over the end to stop it from scratching any paint), and just lever the badge out from underneath, far enough to get a couple of fingers behind it, and literally pull it off, and clip the...

Bought them so I could have them painted black with silver writing. Looks awesome.
Thats where I got my second set...
Cheers guys. It looks darker on those pics cos it was raining when I took them!! But I do love the colour. The wheels really let it down though :( soon to be sorted!

Well unless I red line in every gear all the time then I have to go through the rev range. My point is that say for example your in third gear at 2500 revs and you floor it, there's not much acceleration until 5k revs. I was just looking to improve the acceleration pre-5k revs.
I've already fitted a BMC CDA with hillpower inlet. But not sorted the cold air feed yet, cos theres hardly any space to route it (literally theres about a 2 inch gap down to the front grill, and I need a pipe that is 85mm in diameter to fit onto the BMC CDA). Checked on k-tec before and a...
I bought a 172 about 3 months ago, and I'm just after some advice on improving the torque. The mid range torque is pretty rubbish tbh (between 2k-5k revs). Am I right in saying 172's have 145lbs of torque as standard? Will a decat, BMC CDA (with cold air feed) and a remap make much difference...
Your best off test driving one (without a salesman with you so you can give it some). But seeing as your used to the kick of an impreza turbo, I still reckon you would be disappointed. I came from a 206 1.4 and I expected more from my 172. Gotta admit they are fun though.
Bit of a step down from an imperza STI PPP mate, and a lot more money and effort is involved in improving power than on a turbo! They are fun little cars though, obviously not the fastest thing on the road nevertheless they are good for the money compared to things such as cooper s. A guy near...
My Service Lights and Traction control light both came on this morning. The traction control (the one that flashes when you wheelspin) is now permanently on.
Does anyone know what this could be? Maybe lack of tyre tread and new brake pads are required?
Feels like mine has lost a bit of the 5k kick :( Do you reckon if I fit a cold air feed to my CDA and route it to the bottom grill it will make much diff? Cos I've left the CDA open at the mo. Sounds mint though
Just been looking for stuff on ebay and found this:

what the hell is that all about?
Taking some pics this week as I'm gettin my splitter fitted tomorrow (gave up trying to do it myself). Have to apologise in advanced for the crap wheels I have on (they are 100+ which says it all). Can't afford to replace them just yet.
Yeah I spose the idea of the carbon splitter is that it's got the carbon look. Tempted by getting the diamond done. Might be sending a cheque and a diamond you way again soon :) lol.
Yeah received the badges last week, look 100 times better than standard ones
I recently got my door badges painted black and titanium by Middo (which are quality by the way...cheers Mark). I just wanted to know what people would think my ph2 172 would look like with black wing-mirrors, black renault diamond and spraying my carbon splitter black too? to go along with the...
