Clio sports sound gash when standard IMO. Got a BMC CDA and makes it sound about 172% better :)

Do you guys suggest thoroughly cleaning to car before applying any primer/base coat or laquer to the scratched surfaces? Do you know how long it takes to fully dry?

Yeah I prefer mine to the ph1. But they are still nice. That clio will have throttle bodies, which would cost you almost 4 grand haha. Sounds nice though and will go like poo off a shovel. You can get a turbo conversion as well but thats about 6k takes you to 250bhp I think...cheap stuff :S If...

If I was you I would go for a nice, low mileage mk1. They look just as good as the facelift model and are apparently a fraction of a second quicker (hense them being called ph-quick). Thats not a big deal though. You could get a nice low mileage one for about 4.5-5k. Sounds a lot but you can't...

Your after a mk2 phase2? They are the dogs go-nads. Pick one up fairly cheap now as well. The phase 1 172 is nice as well, which is obviously even cheaper. With a few mods, it will look quality. Whats your budget mate?
