I'm looking at gettin a personalised numerplate and I've found a ok one thats pretty cheap. I've heard you can space the characters so it looks more like the desired name or word. Has anyone here had it done, and have you been pulled by the police for it??

I got my 03 reg 172 in flame red for 6600 with 24k miles on it!! You need to shop around tbh. For 7k you could get a decent 03 cup or FF172 with fairly low mileage like my bad boy!! But like neil said, give a bit of financial leeway for cam belts and possibly brakes

Can someone tell me how to take the b@stard head lamps off so I can fit silvervisions. I'm sure renault put glue on the threads of the bolts cos it's solid to loosen. Heeeelp!!!

It does my nuts in. Is it when you go over about 60-70 mph? Someone suggested replacing the windscreen wipers with Bosch ones (not sure if this will make a diff) and also someone said taping up the hole in the back of the windmirror stops it. Haven't done either yet so I don't know if either work

Think theres a bit of a waiting list mate. Some people have been waiting a few weeks. It's cos K-Tec have ordered them in batches, so you might have to wait til the 2nd batch of splitters arrives before they send it out! I'm gonna be waiting about 4 weeks for mine cos I ordered it the other night!

I heard the 1st batch k-tec ordered have all been sold. So I won't be getting one until the next batch arrives! I don't mint waiting. It's a good subtle mod and makes a big difference to the front end for something small IMO.

Just ordered a carbon splitter from k-tec. From what I hear some of the peeps on here are still waiting for orders they placed weeks ago! Looks like I'll be waiting a while. White 16" turinis and carbon bonnet next I think!!

They are rapid. Bit inconvinient though with no space for anything but you and a passenger. You after a mk1 or 2?

It's so expensive to tune a clio sport! You don't even get amazing gains for the money you have to spend. Sell the 182 and buy a car with a turbo!!

Not convinced about the 197 just yet. Theres a blue one near my house, doesn't do much for me. I think Renault should have just whacked a 225 megane engine in it!!

It's a lot nicer than the old corsa. It's kinda like a squashed new astra sri. Wouldn't mind a blast in one. Is it gonna be the quickest car in it's category? Or is the new cooper s quicker?

If the Astra VXR is anything to go by it will have too much power for it's kak handling. Lets all buy a car that will torque steer into a tree.
