Don't use anything to dry mine now, most of the swirls seem to come from drying so just rinse with Aquagleam filtered water and allow to dry.
I would ditch the Chamois and get some Sonus Der Wunder or Micropak Ultra Soft Drying Towels
Wash it carefully and you wont even need the Final Finish for a while. In a years time you may need the IP in spot areas but probably not on the whole car.

The Menzerna stuff outclasses the Megs 83 and 80 in finish.
The B&Q own brand painters tape is ok, but works out more expensive than the 3m stuff from my local motorfactors.
Most important on Black is a good wash technique - Search on here for the two bucket method
Decent shampoo and washmitt, dry carefully using a good Microfiber drying towel to minimize damage.
My fave combos on Black
Wash and clay as needed.
Then either
1 - Working by hand.
Megs...
Agree fully on the drawing interest to what is under there - as soon as you cover something up it makes people inquisitive.
If you do get one pay for a decent quality one.
