My sisters dynamiques got it (53), so must be an age thing.
Its something to do with the french toll system, they have a barcode that is put in that space, without it the readers cant see through the screen. It doesnt matter that much in the UK, in fact it would be a benifit if you use a...
Windscreen isnt tintied, to might be thinking of the UV reflective coating on the screen. Do you have a small square at the base of the screen dead centre?
who knows what classics are going to make it in the future. Personally, i only see the V6s making it tbh. Rare, amazing cars. Not mass produced 172 or 182s
This morning, my HU is stuck at full volume and the volume dial doesnt make a difference. I know the dial itself isnt broken, as you can adjust other settings with it. Do Sony CDX-MP80s have a history of being a bit dodgy? I dont think its going to be a short is just seems like the unit itself...
As has been said, its change or youll regret it very very shortly when it lights up.
The only way to try it is to give it a boot up towards the limiter and see if it comes on
yeah, they positioned it handily out of sight on the mk2.
Dont think it works on just throttle alone, i think it has to be in gear
In the end though i wouldnt bother with it, as by the time it comes on you should have changed up anyway. Listen to your engine, it will let you know when its ready
If you lost the H/light covers, the fast and furios graphic, the sunstrip, stuck a 172 bumper on it, lost the the splitter, lost the the rear spoiler and slammed it, it would look great. Almost like a cupracer
Not much i would change then! ;)
Wasnt it only late mk1s that had it. If in doubt, rape your engine in first and keep going until the limiter kicks in. If just before the limiter there is a small green light on the dash, then you got one. If not, at least you know what it sounds like to hit the limiter
As Chris said, as long as they cant wriggle out of it by it being a direct result of the mod then you should be ok.
Some dealers might be n*bs and say an exhaust and filter might put undue stress on the engine and caused the problem. Go and ask them to be 100% sure
sorry for the size, but you can see it at the back, to the right of the engine block

Passenger side, hand up under the sound deading, about a foot and a half up youll feel the cable, stick it through there. Comes out behind the deading in the engine bay, best off removing the small reservior to get to it.
Now i wouldnt mind seeing a rear enginged megane v6 in either 3L or 3.5L form, or a FEngined RWD megane with the above engines. Come on Renault, listen to the customers
My old dear had one, It was a special ed RT iirc. Had alloys and a posh interior (Also leccy front winds as well but not sure if that was part of the pack). Not bad cars mate
Sorry to hear that mate. Why are you worried though? If you were driving sensibley and the misss can vouch for it there is no worries, if you hit a patch on the road and you lose it, you just have to hang on. You werent driving like a c**k were you?
