The vent one has got to be the most common rattle on the clio. Everyone has it, theres no escape from it. Going to take it out and give it a coat of tape and stuff to try and stop it.
Renaults have more rattles than early learning fitted as standard.
172-
Passenger speaker cover
Drivers sun visor
Windscreen heater vent
Drivers door card
Passengers seat
Something in the boot area (possibly the parcel shelf)
Too name a few
Weve had tones of renaults. 19s, meganes, clios and a 5. Currently on my drive way are a 1.2, 1.2 dynamique and 172 clios and a megane 1.9DT all under 2 years old. Touch wood, nothing has gone wrong with them and the dealer has been nothing but helpful (Well they would wouldnt they with the...
Its probably got at least one EBAY 10BHP chip, and 2 EBAY plug in turbos. Possibly the addition of a max towels and some dump styling companies stickers equates for the 135BHP jump. What a loser
0-60 in 6.6? A std cup does that for 172bhp.
Think whatever it is is b****cks and it looks awful.
Engine= The whole greddy cat? Ok mate, try a 1.2 after crashing through a Ripspeed parts bin
Where do you think they make the 4k+ saving over its german/jap rivals? Just look at the handbrake cover, its thin, brittle plastic where as in a german equivolent it would be made out of seal ribs and hens teeth.
If you want build quality and decent materials, your going to have to pay the...

Delete the argumentative posts, but not the thread
RS clios dont always seem to be going fast, but just look down when your accelerating and you find they are very rapid.
Joining motorways, i often find myself slighty exceeding the limit without realising.
What did you have before then?
It should just be a case of Renault aligning it correctly, someone on here had the same problem and i believe they got it fixed ok.
Welcome to the club, get signed and sticker up so the rest of the welsh users on here can spot you......(Unless they are in fields enjoying themselves)
On a deserted road, in the middle of the countryside, where you can see whats coming for miles and miles, i found that when you really push the PE2s, they hold on far longer than the contis ever did.
£81 inc fitting is a great price. Is that 195 or 205s?
By far the best tyres at the moment are the mich PE2s (pilot exaltos). Std size the cars come with are 195s which are £68 each or the ones the 182s come with (205s) which are £80something each. Both on mytyres.co.uk
16K must have meant you had really bald shoulders and no wonder the handling...
Thats probably down to the plastic of the wing not the undercoat, and you might want to give your local chipdoctor (Or whatever yours are called) a call.
Renault will bend you over and do you dry to sort that out.
