i had a similar prob when i 1st got my 51plate clio.
alls i did was pull both rear clusters out, gave all cables a push into the connector black and check they were secure and as i put the light back made sure no cables got compressed....fixed it a treat, touch wood been ok since :)
oooh, gladded i opted for the ferrodos then. learn something new every day.
ive heard people complain the 172/182 halfords pads are leathol but also heard good things about the non sport pads
odd, mine had 4 caliper bolts in the box.
i bought them for that reason as id been told they come with bolts were as halfords own dont...thats apparently why the ferodos are a few quid more even though you more than likely get the same pads.
ive also put a sport grill on my clio expression recently, gives the car a much more aggressive look i feel.
might wana replace them orange indicator bulbs with some silvatechs though mate...gives a much cleaner look to the headlights
see my thread for more info -...
yup fone up renault, theyll ask you for the car reg..so give them the reg of a 172/182 and ask for the upper grill - the one between the headlights (you have to add the last bit as some renault employees are numpties)
cheers for the comments guys, appreciated :)
lol maybe i should line up 4 trumpets infront of the engine and tell everyone theyre throttle bodies?
maybe if i place them facing the back of the car when i beep the horn ill get a 10bhp increase due to the air bein pushed out...kinda jet propultion lmao
ahh right...the halfords horns road legal then? did you fix your new horn in origional location? wasnt sure whther id have to have it as secondary or not
well lately there seems to have been a major decline in driving standards which is causing me to use my horn far more frequently...only problem is i think the clios horn sounds a bit gay...and people laugh more than anything else at it. anyone know how hard it is to fit a more manly sounding...
should be in halfords what blades you need for the car, i found halfords own to be very good.
also dont think you can go any bigger than standard as tbh....im sure renault used that size for a reason
