i bought halfords own disks for my 1.2 clio (think theyre the same as yours) and ferrodo pads as they come with new calliper bolts. performance is very good now theyre bedded in, might also be worth bleeding the brake fluid at the same time

182s have no spare wheel well where as 172s do to the best of my knowlege. not really sure its possible to put a 182 look alike exhaust on...although were theres a will theres a way
yeah, ive seen alot of 172/182s around...but normally middle aged women driving them. saw a trophy yday with a late 40s lookin woman drivin it...such a shame :( lol

ebay is normally a good bet for getting renault stuff on the cheap although i havent seen much mk3 gear on there...but tbh ive never really looked hard enough for it with having a mk2
dont see a prob myself (although i have only just got up) as long as there is a good solid connection to the bodywork itll be fine. not sure if there is a main earth bolt on the clio i havent really looked but on my old 206 behind the carpet at the left hand side of the boot there was a bolt...
