Clean paint will bead anyway regardless of wax or sealant.
If in doubt call the guy that painted it better to be safe than sorry and ask him. Some paints are fine to wax after baking.
Re polishing it to get rid of the swirls whatever polish that is strong enough to remove the swirls will be...
New laws on bodyshops going over to water based paints could have something to do with it if it was done recently. Most factory finishes now have it to some degree.
Which Menz polishes do you have?
The later ones should not dust.
I have some origional formula Intensive Polish I use inside in the paint shop which I don't get dusting with, a spritz of QD is a must with it.
I dont disbelieve anyone - just asking what has been used before hand.
I could spray some overt the numerous layers of sealant and wax on my own car already and the surface will be so well prepped it will be impossible to tell what is doing what, hence the need for a freshly prepared panel.

Re the Toyos are fine in the wet unless you drive like tit in the rain comment so un true. After doing a fair amount of miles on them wet or dry. Most of the scary wet weather moments actually occured with them in the wet at low speeds. Huge amounts of understeer even at low speeds coming of...
If the paint already has been protected with another product it will make it impossible to tell what protection and how long the Teflon stuff lasts.
Would much prefer to see it tested on a clean panel wiped down of any previous products to see what it does for looks and apperance, surface feel...
I went for the Dension Ice Link Plus in mine. Plugs into the CD changer port so not FM based and can be controlled from the headunit & stalk, needs only one cable, no hardwiring and comes in a number of dock/cable options when it comes to installation. Had it just over 12 months now and is a...
Poorboys SSR range is easist to master for the beginner.
The Meguiars and Menzerna ranges have a steeper learing curve but the later produces the best results.
Most repaints need to cure and while doing so need to breath, sealing and waxing stops this. Though - If it has been baked enough if maybe safe to seal straight away but you painter should advise on this.
Polishing is fine as long as it does not include anything that will seal the paint to stop...
Other way round boys fine to polish but NOT wax or Seal
Will have been flatted and polished after painting. Using a bodyshop safe polish without sealants or waxes in is a must, ie no Autoglym Super Resin etc.
If you want to polish it gets some bodyshop safe Meguiars or 3M
I use Einzett Leather Care and Zaino Z10 on my leather Mike

The Gliptone is more suited to older leathers from my trials with it.
Heat them up with a hairdryer to losen the adhesive and gently peel off. Wipe of residue left behind with Autoglym Tar and Adhesive remover.
Be aware of paint fade on external ones depending on colour.
LOL so true - until you have been heading backwards down a dual carrigeway heading for the armco you will never appreciated the true crapness of them in the wet!
Ran them for around 60k on my old Pug GTi's
The T1s are fine in the dry, very sketchy in the wet. Not sure how your mate got them to last on a Scooby though, I struggled to get 6K out of the fronts on my 205 GTi.
My prefer Exaltos of Goodyear F1's though, but the T1R's do seem an improvement...
