Re: someph-ing different...........
ben's was from another issue
you on about the bit where the 2 bolts go into the lower inlet (on a standard car)
never had a problem with it before, but i've got something in the pipeline
the bias is controlled by the pump, my car was stripped out completley when i tried it, a car with full interior maybe different with a bit of weight over the rear
Re: someph-ing different...........
Fabricated as a one off prototype the one on Neil's car = ££££
hopefully my production version, like your's will also be less expensive!
nothing to worry about, just tidy up the deep ones, i've seen quite a few like that
the cams are steel and the head casing is ali, the cams aren't going to wear!
Re: someph-ing different...........
halford stuff is s**t just to warn you, the stuff i use is what they use at cosworth
k-tec's might be inexpensive, my one cost a few quid LOL!
do it right first time! ;)
na in all seriousness you can do it way cheaper, this project was all about being different, trend setting if you will. You have to think outside the box and push the boundaries otherwise this industry would get very boring very quickly! yeah its a bit extravigant...
you'd be surprised, i'm quite happy to put my balls on the line and say point blank, i doubt any other exhaust system out there for the 172/182 is as light as the yozza stuff
i'll post up the weights of the various systems in due course
