SRP is a polish/ paint cleaner that leaves some protection, still needs sealant and/or wax over it.

I sat in some at the show, and in a 197 they had a Donnington at the RWS. Not sure I really like them, they feel really thin and a bit flimsy at the top bit and fabric was hanging out from under the belt guides in the 197 so quality was a bit suss.
They felt like they would hold you well and...
The ones I have drove had 6 and 8k on them, which was in comparison to 4k on the demo 182 I drove in Dec 2004 so for me speed wise I think there is a fair indication as to speed.
Fully agree on the gearbox and the brakes felt good,

We did a few hundred miles today hunting, Mate drove from Bristol to Glos to pick me up - one to view in Brum - onto another in Tamworth - then all the way down to Oxford - back Glos to drop me off and on home back to Bristol.
Found a very promising looking one in the end though.
AG Super Resin only dusts if you use to much. Anything you wipe of with waxes and polishes is just excess wasted product.
I have not used Gold Glass for years but the origional formula was one of the biggest pain in the ares products to remove ever!
Not using Collinite at the moment as I have Megs 16 instead.
P21s looks great on all colours and does so on Black, but does not last aswell as the Zymols in Winter, in summer use Souveran and CG 50/50 have the edge on it.

The above a combos for on good shape paint. Any swirls and marks etc need to be addressed first with some proper compounds. I use either the Menzerna or Poorboys polishes as needed first.
But you told me you loved it Si ;)
On the possible hunt for a Phase 1 172 track car for myself, but aim of today is find my freind Phase 2 172 for my freind.
Going to look at some 172's today aswell - So the early ones have no traction/esp at all, the first batch 52's plates? - got it but it is not switchable? Later cars got it with the switchable system like the 182 has?
Cheers
Rich
That said if we get some decent looking days like today it may get soon!
Of 172 hunting with a freind later - which is handy the weather is good. Enjoy your new toy later.
PC'd with Poorboys SSR 2.5 polish to remove the swirls IIRC and then AG SRP, sealed with Optimum Car Wax.

SRP, EGP with a decent carnuba over the top works fine as a winter combo, last and looks great, Meguiars 16 looks ok. The consumer range Gold Glass, NXT and 3 stage are not that great.
AG UDS is an okay one step product, but wont work in the AG SRP and EGP processm its not that easy on or off I...
Winter - Klasse AI0 and Jeffs Werkstat Acylic Jet Sealant, topped with Zymol Carbon & Zymol Titanium
