yeah they go in the bin (post 15) and you must file the ends of the pads down so you can move the pad vertically about 1mm in the carrier
i can 99% guarantee you have a binding issue
the plates in post 17 go in the bin too

thinking about it, your throttle butterfly doesn't go through a full 90degrees of movement, maybe 87degrees or something like that, maybe that could explain why you don't see a full 100%? pass, i...
but if its loose or something daft its theoretically possible it loosing signal at high rpm, very unlikely but considering who built the car, entirely possible ;)
