Throttle bodies are £30 ish second hand and pedals are under £20. Certainly not the end if the world but as I said, I'd get it properly diagnosed before you fork out any money.

Sounds like a naff throttle position sensor. If you live near anyone with Clip though, get it plugged in before you spend any money though.

You'll need a 172/182 engine. And gearbox, clutch, driveshafts, hubs, shocks, springs, subframe, discs, pads calipers, ARB, ecu, UCH, dash clocks, all the relevant loom.... Plus if you want rear discs you'll need the rear beam and all the brakes. Or just buy a 172 for £1500. I know what...
