    the top cap is only there to stop the strut from falling off i think it would be an idea to remove the washers before MOT

    you have to remove the heatsheild above the exhaust centre section and adjust the nut OR you might be lucky and have the adjuster inside the car under the handbrake cover

    it won't fit a phs1 172 though mate unless you change the wings, headlights and bonnet and then you'll haveto have all those parts painted
