Re-fit the following bits: Roof trims, rear quarter glass, door locks/handles/cards, remove and refit wonky bumper, repair a bit of wiring loom, clean door cards, clean and paint some little trims.

What he's saying is, don't go through insurance and just get the guy to give you £150 cash. £100 for a 2nd hand bumper and £50 to fit it.
Rather than effecting your insurance.
Make sure you check the car over and are 100% happy with it before you sign for anything or drive it away.
If you have doubts, take someone along with you who knows what they're doing.
