That's the one I have, fitted it few months back and yet to have an mot. It initially threw the eml light as well but after resetting few times seems fine now.
may just need the linkage adjusting correctly, search on here, theres a guide somewhere on how to logically go about it. not difficult really but some people seem to find it a bit of a fiddle
hehe, no worries chap, just love that gif so any excuse really!
I've never had one 'walk away' even when I've used the daily on track. unless its a very obviously modified one. Stock for stock there isn't much in it
awful, how dare you use description to identify people, unacceptable
they were non-denominatory, gender fluid, ethically diversified fridge freezers in a generic, non-descript vehicular carriage
All about supply and demand, nothing new, cars get rare as they get old and cost more, simple really. Market for mk2's is now a sellers and will remain so, it happens to all decent niche market segment vehicles. Move from buyers to sellers market and prices go up
Yeah they're just heavy, put new one in mine and within 20k miles, heavy again
Low bite point however is more of a concern, could be cable stretch or could be clutch on the way...
unless you're a total wheelman, right on the limit of the cars capability and competing in a competitive environment... Just stick with 54mm, loads less hassle for a cheap road car you may chuck on track occasionally
I've driven loads of 197/200's but they look a bit pants, interiors imo are hideous and they're too expensive and thirsty for me to even consider 15k plus a year in.
They do drive very nicely though, about all they have going for them imo
It does't take long to get balls deep, kept a spreadsheet on mine and not added the front end suspension refresh yet as it's in the shed, not actually on the car yet, lol!
I'm definitely in the other camp, I think the 197's look rubbish really. never got on with design language of the front of that era, same reason i'm not hugely keen on that era of megane either.
200 or nothing if I had to have a mk3. but to me they're just too expensive for not much gain, want...
Allow the enthusiasm to wash over you, before you know it you'll exceed the previous owners levels and the warm fuzziness of proper Clio ownership will envelop you in it's warm and reasonably priced embrace
