Naturual carnuba waxes won't hold up as well to heat as some of the more modern synthetic polymer sealants. Something like Autoglym Extra Gloss would be a better option. When well protected as others have said normal car shampoo will be fine.

A mixture of products really mostly the Clearkote, Poorboys ranges and a wax called Souvrean which is made for black and red cars.

I'll stick to Autoglym engine and machine cleaner, tuff enough to clean brake dust etched on cars that have not had there wheels cleaned in years but safe of paint and contains no acid.

The close ups did seem to show of the paint. I think the car would have looked betterin the normal shots if the weather had been better.

I have the origional bigger and un watermarked if any one needs it, I will have a play myself and see if I can shop it to inferno to, as others said being black makes it a pain to do.

Ha ha thanks Mark! Spammy, Polished with Poorboys SSR 2, Clearkote Vannilla Moose and Red Machine Glaze by PC a few months ago. Sealed by Poorboys EX-p by hand. Since then it has had a coat of Nattys Blue and Souveran. Now being maintained after washing with Optimum car wax.

Yeah a weekend play thing here to, had mine since March should use it more really.

Cheers Liam, that will be the lack of miles on them (1500 so far). By the last pics on my memory card had mud all over it, all washed and tucked away in the garage now though!

Like Lee said the ST is warm hatch, a rival to the likes of the Pug 206 GTi 138 rather than the 172/182.

Gold Class Wax or any other Carnubas dont really stand up to well for wheel use. Autoglym Super Resin and Extra Gloss protection is a better option.

I have an RA2, but if I was buying now it would have to be the Road Angel Compact for that money.

Quick question Guys/gals has anyone got a spare 182 wheel with tyre on in the car, silly question but does it fit in the boot? Measured the wheel on my car at the weekend and then the boot, looks as if it could be a tight squeeze? Cheers Rich
