yep got it in one, i'm surprised 1.2 shocks fit 172 hubs!
you HAVE to drill the subframe for the lower front gearbox ount fella
i assume you're using the 1.2 anti roll bar too?
hang on have you fitted you subframe with the 172 engine and box in the car yet?
you'll have to tell me EXACTLY what ARB, wishbones, hubs, driveshafts, struts you're using
subframes are the same, the only difference is the 172 one is double skinned in places and has 2 holes for the lower front gearbox mount
you'll have to drill 2 holes into your 1.2 one, thats what i've done, easy peasy
the thing in the red circle is the map sensor, just unplug the connector from it, as it'll probably snap if you try to pull it out
the purple line is the vac feed for the servo, it just twists and puls off
CAT - normal
decat - just a pipe direct from the manifold
sport cat - same as a cat just a bit less restrictive
power wise
decat wins every time
pain in the arse wise, its gotta come out every year for the MOT
our new steath system is erm a bit on the loud side, we've got a new one being made at the moment
Middo and Nigels are both the louder road systems, hopefully we'll be able to sound test one new week
Rich i can rip off that black heat shield thing if you want and install the same stuff i have at the back of my engine (see the silver thing at the back of the engine bay?)
the silver sheet stuff is £30 odd IIRC
