anyone ever tried the micro ones?

love to see if in a point just at windscreen type situation this would do the trick as it weighs next to nothing
although I hate when Ross keeps digging up old threads and pics of the car like this, I think he's more angry at the situation than me, flol!
does make me miss it, such a great and pretty car in its heyday
just s**t and s**t mate, started to use the car for trackdays rather than just posing and santa pod. with the open diff and more road orientated suspension setup it wasn't perfoming great and I had loads of issues with overheating etc with the turbo lump. was looking at big bucks to put it right...
great stuff @Digger90 glad you made the purchase in the end!
really hoping to see it out and about at some point, we'll have to align track calendars at some point later in the year when mines back up and sorted :)
I couldn't sell it mate, if I did and saw someone else in it i'd be distraught! its part of me now had it that long, lol
Rot would already of been there, fear not I have the panels to repair it so it will rise again, one day!
the cheap argument doesn't hold up tbh, could easily buy some pre loved 15" with used yoko ad08's on them for less than replacing the Pirellis
if the point is to specifically maintain the use of a road tyre then its a nothing of nothing choice, they will all be pretty useless and let go easily...
Coming from mk1's the mk2's are so so much better, mk1 valver were rotting at 8 years old or less, my first one was 11 and completely fubar when I got it despite being welded up once already .
As above, initially keep it simple, see what you think is letting it down and ask specific questions based on that.
So if you feel brakes are poor for example then ask in the brakes and suspension forum, etc
When going from the front I just use the wishbone mounting point area of the subframe to each side. If it's too low just park it in the garage with front wheels on some small wooden blocks
Oh yeah agreed, they've reached stage now where spending the money is going to be worth it. I didn't mean yours was bad as in rotten or anything btw, didn't mean to ruffle like. Was just surprised for a 34k is it car?!
yours look pretty bad for the mileage @Ant1 but no worse than mine and I've just gone with treat from inside, i'll probably have the sills covers off the outside over summer on both cars too to clean out and check
need to buy a rivet gun tbh
