Made another purchase, replica trophy spoiler and some rub strips as my current ones are mis match colours and this set along with the spoiler are a decent match for the car! Hopefully get everything fitted over the weekend, coilovers, recaros, whiteline, 675 wheels and this stuff. Miiint

Bit more painting recently, tidied up front springs and brake booster plus the pedal box panel in the chassis. About ready to start popping it all back together now :-) Had to remove manifold again get the booster out and no pics of springs finished yet, I'll assemble them back to the coilovers...

my commute is 12 miles and can choose the steady A road cruise through the little towns or B road back route for a spank use it for work trips to Birmingham down the A38/M6 once a week too but that's fine as well tbh, janspeed is mousey quiet and sits at 80 (km/h officer) no worries

I've had clio issues for over 15 years now, I don't think it'll ever change reckon I've owned at least 20 as well, including many mk1 16v, Williams' and sports. nothing newer than my current daily 182 FF however so all crap, old, rattly, badly made and just simply awesome! lol!

Everyone always cracks, standard is all well and good, but we love a tinker and modding is just too warm and fuzzy a feeling to ignore .

exactly, the thought of fitting the ebay ones and them just not working just makes me cringe, lol! plan is to hack the dash apart to free them rather than pulling them put, the smash my old ones out and clip these in, hopefully without breaking them its a job I will work upto as if it goes...

yes mate mine are both cracked and 'floppy' and I didn't want to go the eBay pattern part route so spent the last year trying to source some mint originals found then, now I have the unenviable task of extracting and then fitting them to my car..........oh god!

Got the cup spoiler and wheel centre caps back from paint shop tonight and also dropped off front and rear bumpers and alloy bonnet for paint.
