Made another purchase, replica trophy spoiler and some rub strips as my current ones are mis match colours and this set along with the spoiler are a decent match for the car!
Hopefully get everything fitted over the weekend, coilovers, recaros, whiteline, 675 wheels and this stuff. Miiint
Bit more painting recently, tidied up front springs and brake booster plus the pedal box panel in the chassis.
About ready to start popping it all back together now :-)
Had to remove manifold again get the booster out and no pics of springs finished yet, I'll assemble them back to the coilovers...
my commute is 12 miles and can choose the steady A road cruise through the little towns or B road back route for a spank
use it for work trips to Birmingham down the A38/M6 once a week too but that's fine as well tbh, janspeed is mousey quiet and sits at 80 (km/h officer) no worries
they're a cult classic imo, cracking little car and that particular example looks a peach, low miles, good spec, well cared for and new meticulous owner.

plan is to hack the dash apart to free them rather than pulling them put, the smash my old ones out and clip these in, hopefully without breaking them
its a job I will work upto as if it goes...
yes mate mine are both cracked and 'floppy' and I didn't want to go the eBay pattern part route so spent the last year trying to source some mint originals
found then, now I have the unenviable task of extracting and then fitting them to my car..........oh god!
