who one??? i was on the stand at the time at the other end of the runway, so didn't see it, but we apparently overtook the noble, and i'm not sure weather we got past the BB car
its not built for 1/4 miling mate, its built for going round race tracks as fast as possible, we've never ran it down the strip, if it was setup for it, i would imagine low 13's entirley possible
flywheel isn't that expensive to have lightened and balanced
yeah, we've worn away the heat wrap at that exact point on our 182 manifold (caveman yoz destroyed those 2 engine mounts after FCS, they were brand new the week before!!)
well the only problem i see with that is if you stop the bottom of the engine moving, then the top of the engine will move more causing the upper mounts to wear (have you ever seen a 172 bouncing off the limiter on a rolling road??? you'll see what i mean!!)
we run a standard dogbone on YS Ver 1.2
