I like them both. The 200 is more solid, and it handles so well, the 182 feels more aggressive and urgent, and has more character. £ for £ you cant go wrong with a MK2

Picked this up a few weeks back. I have had a couple of 172's and a 182 in the past, now decided to move onto 197. GW with speedline wheels, cornering lights, recaro's and cup suspension. So far i've pinched the bee sting arial off my old car, and debadged the CLIO lettering on the boot lid...

All swapped and working fine. Swinging off a 2 metre lever did the trick :)

I have a large pipe bender over the socket wrench.. Which has now bent! There are 4 (wings) on the nut, do these need hammering up?

Sold my 182 two weeks ago, had six clios in total since 2004. Thought i would buy something 'different' Only tend to use the car the odd weekend, so something expensive wasnt really on my options list.. Ended up buying this for £peanuts! :) I have some strange addiction to these cars!

I bought one from Maplins, and soldered it onto the board. It worked for 2 days, and then failed. I bought a second hand complete pack off here, which has worked fine since :)

The transistor may not be broken, but if lose i.e. the solder holding it onto the PCB in broken, it will be intermittent. I would start by changing the resister pack. My clio developed a similar problem. Rob

I think it's due to cups having manual heating controls, as apposed to digital climate control on the 172.
